Walking Wings - That You Can Win

Every time I watch someone leaning over to help their new walker toddle, my back aches a little for them. You spend a LOT of time bent over in those days.

Which is why I jumped at the chance to give away a bit of relief for Inside Out readers, courtesy of the folks at Upspring Baby.

Their Walking Wings give kids who are just about to walk a little help from above, and give Mom and Dad the chance to offer that help without getting down low. A harness wraps around baby's chest, and Mom and Dad hold tight to long loops. It gives the kids freedom (and free hands to carry their favorite toys) to learn to walk without someone tugging on their arms. The Walking Wings serve as training wheels for them - and training relief for us. And they come in pink or blue!

Want one for your baby? How about a baby shower (you know you'll be the ONLY one giving this goodie)? Upspring Baby is offering one set of Wings - in the color of your choice - to one lucky Inside Out reader. Open to U.S. and Canada residents, the contest will run through next Wednesday, October 8. To get in on the prize action, leave a comment with what you think of Upspring's other products below. For extra entries, as always, grab my badge and/or blog about the contest and leave the link in comments. To be notified right away, subscribe! Otherwise, make sure you check back to see who won and sign up for our other giveaways!

WHAT? This is the best invention i've heard of lately!!! We're in this stage with my baby and I'm CONSTANTLY leaning over and holding a hand or picking him back up!! BUT he's FINALLY walking a little with lots of help in public! The night knight is also a great idea! I have one of the summer video monitors but when you're sleeping you arent CONSTANTLY watching the monitor!

The Milkscreen test would be a lifesaver. This would be perfect to have when you are feeling uneasy about nursing or not.

The Night Knight would be great if my little guy was a little smaller - as soon as he had the strength to roll over despite the wedges I put at his sides, he refused to sleep on his back - much to my chagrin. I have another monitor that senses motion, but portable it's not! Walking wings however are something I could use right now - I mean really use. My little guy thinks he's a walker...thinks...he cries to walk around, my goodness could I use those wings!

Disclaimer

I realized I had to add one of these because people let their minds run away with them sometimes. Wait, where was I?

The reviews I put up on this site are NOT paid for by any company. They come from my little ol' head. Some of the products I found myself - on the 'net, at the store, or from other moms. Some were sent my way by publicists. Usually they didn't fit the mold of another project I was working on, but I thought they were so cool I couldn't help sharing!

As for what happens to the products I didn't care for - you'll never know! Because I won't write about them on here. So if you see it, I liked it. 'Nuff said!
