Giveaway: Sigg Water Bottles That Save the Rainforest!

SIGG Cuipo water bottle

We used to have a water bottle problem in our house. If my daughter actually remembered to bring her bottles home in her lunchbag, they didn’t last long. The gaskets gave out. The spouts stopped spouting. The water she was supposed to drink ended up drenching her bookbag. Finally, I gave in. I decided to throw the cheap bottles aside and order some Sigg water bottles.

I haven’t bought a single bottle since. Not only did the Sigg water bottles last us the entire school year, but they’re still going. The gaskets are good, the spouts still strong.

In short: buying SIGG was worth every penny.

But now there’s reason to buy more for our collection. SIGG Switzerland has partnered with Cuipo, a company working to save tropical rainforests.

They’ve created limited edition bottles with the Cuipo name on them along with adorable animals — the kind they’re trying to save. The bottles help spread awareness, but more importantly, they’re part of the mission too. For every bottle purchased, 1 meter of rainforest is saved. A code attached to the bottle has to be entered online at Cuipo’s site where your kids can learn about the 31 million acres of rainforest lost each year and what to do about it.

Want to do your part? You can buy your kids (or yourself) one of the limited edition CUIPO bottles online or at Whole Foods … or you can win one!

The .3 liter bottles typically sell for $17.99, and the .4 liter bottles for $19.99, but I’ve got one CUIPO-branded SIGG bottle (which are BPA and phthalate free!) to give away, courtesy of SIGG Switzerland!  And yes, you still get a code to save some rainforest.
