Mets’ Moms & Families Day Tickets — How to Snag the Deal

mets gameThere are certain things that make spring, spring. Mud. The return of the peepers and the robins. And baseball.

The sound of ball hitting bat is everything that makes this season grand, and if you live in driving distance of New York City, you’re in luck. The Mets brought a group of bloggers into Citifield last week (yes, me included) to show off their newest efforts to make Queens the place for families to enjoy the great American game.

They’ve added bouncy houses and face painting outside the main gates for kids who get antsy waiting for the doors to open. They’ve added a kid-meal station — complete with kid-sized portions — near the batting cages, Xboxes and other games for kids who need to stretch their legs well before the seventh inning. Oh yeah, and every kid who joins Mr. Met’s Kids Club will now get to run the bases after the games on Sunday!

Oh, and because baseball isn’t just for boys (AHEM), they’re throwing a special Moms and Families Day, complete with special deals for parents and kids. Want in? Here’s the deal. On April 27, for the game against the Miami Marlins, the Mets are offering a $29 ticket deal ($25 if ordered before April 15). For that, you snag your kids a private meet & greet with Mr. Met before the game, plus your eats are covered!

Each $29 ticket includes:

One (1) Field Level ticket
One (1) hot dog and One (1) soft drink
Receive a Mets Lanyard with ticket holder
Exclusive photo opportunity with Mr. Met

On top of that, if you sign your kids up for the Mr. Met’s Kids Club — for free — they can run the bases after the game!
